I purchased both Guapo books for my nephew for Christmas and they are already his favorite. The stories are heartwarming and share such positive, empowering messages. In a time of so much darkness, when bullying has become commonplace, these positive stories that teach children to be good, kind, and empathetic human beings is very welcome! I look forward to more books by the author! The illustrations are amazing too!

I loved this book for my grandson! It is a beautiful and true story about the power of love and kindness. I would highly recommend this book for young children and I’m looking forward to the sequel “ GUAPO’S GREAT RESCUE”

Awesome cute book this is adorable. Anything that teaches children to be kind and also love animals is great.

A great story for children! This was an adorable children's story about a lovable calf and his friends. Guapo is adopted by a family, and he is so happy to have a place to sleep and humans to feed him. As he grows, he finds that his size is intimidating to some. I liked that this story showed how what we look like on the outside doesn't mean that's who we are inside. Just because Guapo is really big, it doesn't mean he's a scary calf. As new animals meet him, they are unsure of how he will act towards them, but soon learn that he's the sweetest, best friend they could have! I would recommend this for children in early elementary. It's got great illustrations to help tell the story! I was provided a gifted copy of this book for free. I am leaving my review voluntarily.
